Manchester's Open Ultimate Frisbee Club - DUFFA!
We're Manchester's open Ultimate Frisbee club, one of the largest in the North West and organisers of DUFFA Hat. We meet and play twice a week - outdoors at Fog Lane Park, Didsbury, Manchester and indoors at Parrs Wood High School Sports Hall.
Over the summer (April - September), we play every Thursday and Sunday and finish with a pint or three in the Fletcher Moss, Didsbury. Over the winter (September - April), we play every Sunday with a midweek session indoors (at Parrswood High School and finish with a pint or three.
Our players are of varying levels, from total beginners to uni-level. We also frequently meet up for socials in and around the Didsbury area.
Want To Play?
DUFFA's aim is to ensure that new members are always made to feel welcome and that just about anyone can just turn up and play. We welcome all abilities, especially those who have never played before. We're happy to take beginners through the basics - throwing and catching skills and go over the rules in a relaxed atmosphere. Feel free to come down and just watch us (we promise it's more accessible than it looks) and have a chat over a pint after!
If you're interested just turn up to any session in old trainers (if it's muddy) and bring a bottle of water. The fastest way to learn is to play!
Beginners are ALWAYS welcome and we also run beginners specific session on the first Sunday of every month - see here for more details
What is Ultimate?

- Thursdays - 1800hrs - dark, outdoors - Fog Lane Park
- Sundays - 1700hrs until dark, outdoors - Fog Lane Park

DUFFA Hat Tournament
DUFFA Hat 2013 takes place on 27th & 28th July 2013
Registration was a record breaking sell out!!! We sold out in **4** minutes of opening UK registration. Sorry to those that were left disappointed - we have been blown away by the demand!
