ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING: 18 October 2026

Steve needs to fix the bank account
Account open balance on 1st September 25, £4525.46, close balance on 1st September 26 = £4565.04 approx £40 gain over year.
3. Sec & Social Sec Reports (approved unanimously)
Moved to WhatsApp polls for outdoors sessions, now use WhatsApp as primary method plus Insta and have fully moved away from Facebook.
Indoors league was oversubscribed which is something to bear in mind for next year if it’s run.
4. Moved onto Election of new committee for 26 to 27 year
Election of 26/27 committee. Steve provided a summary of roles and voting powers. Steve Morgan, Peter Smart, Omar Rashied, Owen Richards were elected by acclamation to the positions of Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and Social Secretary respectively. Andar Barrishi, Ela Hollies and David Holmes were elected by acclamation to the positions of “at large” committee members.
5. No constitutional amendments formally submitted.
6. Bye-laws – Steve has some amendments to be circulated after meeting

Looking to run dedicated beginners sessions with the 1st one Being run in January,
April put themselves forwards as someone who’d be potentially willing to run the sessions.
Date and format to be decided then advertised asap.
Suggestion for introduction videos/instructions for beginners joining duffa. Looking to make it clear what to expect. Also are there any good into to Ultimate videos that we could signpost?
Suggestions to Have clearer boundaries on WhatsApp polls, polls should have earlier cut-off times to help the volunteers and the members attending plan their day.
Suggestion for Kit order again this year.

Motion to close meeting
